The overall objectives of the ConEct-project are to establish a sustainable cross-border network between partner schools in the program area. The purpose, from the educational point of view, is to improve knowledge and understanding about different vocational education systems in partner countries and plan and develop a joint vocational education, training and further training system for partner schools.
The aim is to improve mobility and educate young professionals and specialists to meet the needs of working life and improve and facilitate the movement of labor force in the whole program area. “Economic and social development” is the priority of the ConEct-project. The overall objectives, in the view of working life, are to establish sustainable cross-border networks and business relations among SME´s in the in the program area and support sustainable business development within economically growing businesses.
The project focuses on the construction field and technological industry. Cooperation and development among the SME´s are based on the needs and expectations of the working life in partner countries and regions. The aim is to improve knowledge of working life and trends of development, reduce obstacles to mobility and facilitate the movement of the labor force across the borders, support work related immigration and improve understanding of cross-border business and working opportunities within the program area.
Common overall aims are to support social development, improve and develop cross-border cooperation and ongoing communication between vocational education and working life to meet the needs and expectations of working life, enhance knowledge and transfer good practices of sustainability and sustainable development, increase working safety in vocational education and working life in the whole program area.
